Rev. Rick Hancock serves as the Senior Pastor at DBC. He is originally from Prince Georges's County, Maryland. His family includes his wife Lisa and their four children: Kelsie, Emily, Faith and Joshua. Pastor Rick has been in full-time ministry since 1992. He presently shares in the oversight of Missions Outreach and Servant-Leadership.
Charles Brown and his wife Diane reside in Chesapeake Beach, MD. Charlie is a graduate of Washington Bible College as a Youth Ministry major. Diane is a Special Education Instructor at Beach Elementary School. They have been in full time youth ministry in Calvert County for thirteen years. Pastor Charlie is focused on one thing. "It is my desire to see students come to know Jesus Christ as Savior, grow in their relationship with Him, and do it in a culturally relevant environment". Our teenage children must be able to translate their faith in God into their daily living as they approach and enter young adulthood! Proverbs 3:5&6 are Pastor Charlie's life verses, look them up! They have two young adult children, Anthony and Melissa. Anthony works and resides in Phoenix AZ and Melissa currently resides and works in Easton MD. Pastor Charlie & Diane are excited about being part of the ministry team at DBC! He presently shares in the oversight of Spiritual Development and Student Ministry.
Mrs. Donna Murphy joined our church staff in 2010. She provides administrative assistance to the pastoral team and various church ministries.
Mrs. Pattie Jones joined our staff in April 2012. She is the friendly and familiar voice on the phone and as you enter the office!
